Each chapter takes you one step further in the process of taking a song from its demonstration version to the completed format, ready to deliver to a distributor. Not only is the technology explained in brief but accurate scenarios, but a discussion of some of the business aspects of publicity, promotion, distribution, and retail take the reader into the delivery process. In addition, the book contains a brief biography of each of the contributors which explains why Mr. Hepworth-Sawyer chose these particular people. This is a good, useful book for anyone who wants to understand how song goes from creation to the marketplace.
